***UPDATE*** WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH KATY DAVIDSON? ***UPDATE***
8/28/2009

From the North Portland branch of the Multnomah County Library:

So, the San Francisco Pop Fest and What the Heck Fest have come and gone! Thank you to all the kind people who came and listened (and to all the incredible organizers). Those festivals marked the end of my live performance activity for the rest of the year. Time to work on new recordings!

In the meantime:

The Dear Nora rarities comp is out now on Magic Marker Records. Two discs, 57 songs, spanning 1997-2007. Tons of unreleased songs and hard-to-find tracks from out-of-print 7-inches, etc. It’s a completely insane collection of music. I’m especially into the second disc, which contains the mysterious Lost Album and outtakes from Mountain Rock. Purchase the comp here.

I covered a song by the Owls called “Air.” The recording of it can be found on the Magic Marker Records 10th Anniversary 7-inch collection. I’m really into it! It sounds like CFTPA meets Junior Murvin meets Townes Van Zandt. Purchase the collection here.
